Die Spanische Treppe von Rom. Die „Spanische Treppe“ in Rom wurde zwischen 1723 und 1726 im Rokokostil erbaut und führt von der Piazza di Spagna in Richtung der französischen Klosterkirche Trinita dei Monti (erbaut 1502-1587). Die Treppe besteht aus 135 Stufen und drei verschiedenen Terrassen, die ein Hinweis auf die Dreifaltigkeit sind (Trinità).
